Imagine yourself lounging on a tropical beach, fresh salsa on the table next to you, margarita in your hand, cool waves emanating a mild saltiness. Oh, and lemon peel added to exfoliate. That’s this soap.
Made with QAI certified organic oils including olive oil, coconut oil, sustainable palm oil, shea butter, water, lye, fragrance oil, lemon peel.
Maple Rowe soap is handmade in small batches in Chicago with every care and caution taken to ensure a luxurious bathing experience for you. The bars are cut at about 5 to 5.5 ounces and are allowed to cure for two months. This process dries the soap out, which shrinks the soap in weight resulting in a bar that weighs about 4 to 4.5 ounces. To ensure the longest life possible for your bar of Maple Rowe soap, allow it to dry between uses.
All of our soaps contain shea butter, which comes from a tree nut, and some people are allergic to it. While studies have been done proving that shea butter used topically is very low risk for those with tree nut allergies, if you are indeed allergic to tree nuts consult your physician before using anything with shea butter as an ingredient.
Every ingredient used in our soap is listed on the packaging and on the item page except for the fragrance oils, which are proprietary formulas. Take special note of the exfoliant additive used in each bar before you make a purchase, as some people are allergic to these ingredients. People who suffer from ragweed allergies, for example, may be allergic to chamomile flowers. If you’re unsure about your allergies, ask your doctor!
