Each "For Giggles and Grins" journal is a unique compilation consisting completely of vintage and “found” paper goods from sources such as estate sales, garage sales and thrift stores. Most covers are salvaged from books that were destined for the landfill.

The journal's personality is enhanced by the small flaws one would expect to find in items that have experienced a previous life.

While some customers have said they don't want to spoil the esthetic of their journal by writing in it and choose to use it for display only, others have used it as a journal/notebook or diary. This specific handmade journal features a salvaged 1968 Autumn Selections Reader’s Digest Condensed Book cover embellished with a vintage photograph of a young cowpoke on a collage of Western images and papers. Glimpses of a Western theme are visible throughout the journal.

Each "For Giggles and Grins" ephemera journal contains a sprinkling of special pages such as music or book pages, a handmade envelope and a few small surprises—be sure to look in all the envelopes.

Tie closure is made of recycled cord and reclaimed wooden beads. Metal spiral binding is copper colored. 44 inserts/88 sides.
