Simple and elegant, and easy to wear, these are a customer (and personal) favorite!
I wear my pair without any backs and they stay put, but I can include plastic safety backs upon request, as they are more secure that way. Note that these are meant to be worn "open", since squeezing them to close will over time make the metal brittle.
The 3rd photo shows the 14k version worn; the last photo shows them next to a US dime for size comparison.
OPTIONS:
• By default these are made with 20ga wire; sightly larger 19ga or 18ga is also available, just add a 'note to seller' at checkout to request it!
• Note that Sterling Silver will tarnish; Argentium and Fine silver are tarnish-resistant (though not tarnish-proof).
• Note that Fine silver will stay MUCH softer than the others, and is not available in 19ga.
• Oxidized (antiqued) sterling is "blackened" before tumbling; it is a durable finish but not guaranteed to be permanent, as it can be cleaned off (either intentionally or unintentionally!).
• 14k gold-filled in yellow, rose or white: click here http://www.etsy.com/listing/108458570/
• solid 14k gold (yellow, white, or rose) click here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/108501133/
• Titanium, Niobium, or Surgical Steel - http://www.etsy.com/listing/187979900/
• Solid copper or red brass ($15) - request a custom listing for this!
My sterling (or argentium, or fine) wire used to make these is manufactured in the USA, from recovered ( recycled ) sources!
Note that if you order these in either sterling or Argentium, I will stamp them "STER" (VERY tiny stamp!) on the inside - in the past I didn't stamp the Argentium because I have never found a small enough Argentium stamp to fit; however as it does meet (and exceed!) the minimum requirements for Sterling as well, I now stamp it as such.
