This sweet deer fawn is inspired by the wildlife I see in my backyard. A white-tailed deer, like Bambi. This fawn is poseable, even the tail can be posed to simulate a white-tailed deer tail which flips up when running.

Like my other needle-felted creations, this fawn is an original. I do not use patterns; I use a free form style. Although I may create this fawn multiple times, no two will be exactly alike, but they will be very similar, like twins.

My fawn is created of a variety of wool, some natural, some custom hand-dyed by myself. His coat will be soft with wools such as merino, alpaca, baby camel top and a mix of sheep wool.

The fawn is about 6.5 inches from feet to top of ears and about 6 inches from nose to tail.
