The Spiral Light Wheels are hand crafted works of art as well as visual tools to accelerate holistic healing. Using the purest saturated colors of fine art glass. The seven wheels of glass are fused around a natural hand coiled copper spiral bent into a specific three and a half spiral rotation. Each wheel consists of unique combinations of precious and non-precious metals and minerals which vary with each color of glass.
The Spiral Light Wheels are offered as enhancement tools in the hands of the experienced health practitioner and also as aids for individuals exploring their own realms of self awareness.
The “Rainbow Set” is inspired by ancient cultural traditions that integrate the use of light, color, visual patterns and elemental materials to balance the centers of the subtle-energy body (Chakras) as well as the physical body and the psyche. The word chakra in Sanskrit translates as the word wheel. The “Rainbow Set” corresponds to the visual part of the electromagnetic spectrum generally referred to as the colors:
Red - Orange - Yellow - Green - Blue - Indigo - Violet
The spiral Light Wheels embody numerous traditions of energy balancing. The spiral symbol dates back to over 7000 years, and has been found in a number of ancient cultures around the world. Spirals are seen in ritualistic objects and religious architecture and art. The spiral is the natural form of growth as they are found throughout nature, seeds, flowers and sea shells grow in a spiraling pattern, even our universe and the planets move in a spiraling dance.
In the light Wheels we use copper which is a good physical conductor of electricity and heat.
Glass and quartz at their molecular structure are basically made of the same elements as their basic molecule is silicon dioxide. Quartz is know to structure, amplify, store, transmute and transform energy. Silicon is also the basic element which constitutes computer processing chip technology, and therefore exhibits information storing and transmitting capabilities.
Suggested use: lay the wheels along the spinal column on the seven major chakra centers.
The open end of the coil is placed in a upwards direction to the left side of the body so the energy is moving in a clockwise direction. They are placed from the root chakra up in the rainbow sequence starting with red. It is best to have a natural light source shinning through or you can use a hand held led light. For sensitive people It may be best to take them off in the opposite sequence. Starting with the violet at the crown chakra, taking the grounding red wheel off last. Individual colors may be laid on any area one wants to focus on. I like to play with the red. green and violet, where I receive the best results
Each wheel is approximately 2 7/8 inch diameter.
The Spiral Light Wheel set was fully realized in physical form as the first set was created in January of 2003. The creation of the wheels was a joint manifestation with my sister Annie Tamburro, a licensed massage therapist and Reiki master and my partner, designer, artist Nicholas Clemente. Nick had studied and practiced color therapy as well as meditation and acupuncture. Annie was practicing Reiki and energy work with the Tibetan Neolithic copper spiral after taking a class. In 2002 the conversations and enthusiasm between the three of us ensued and we integrated the energy of both modalities and the ancient system into the Spiral Light Wheels set you see here. The only of it's kind.
