One fine day I was walking downtown and noticed a feather, orphaned on the sidewalk. I picked it up and held the quill between my fingers, turning it slowly to catch the afternoon light. Diaphanous, organic, simply splendid. I carried it home like a wondrous little trophy. I leaned in close to it. I studied it's construction, it's "featherness". I fell a little in love and I had to draw it...

The strong, quiet truth of Frank Lloyd Wright's words seemed the fitting accompaniment.
The teal blue is from my flight of fancy!

Archival quality print of my original pen and ink illustration & lettering.
Printed with high-definition Epson inks on beautiful soft white matte paper, acid free.
