This is a print at home reproduction of a charming French hat pattern from 1948. Post-war French fashion was simple, but very celebratory and this beret with bird ornaments symbolizing freedom from the occupation is a great example of that.
There are three ways to adapt a single given felt beret pattern and instructions and diagrams given for making the easy little felt bird, knot or stem to embellish.
