These chalkboard mats are GREAT! You can take them where ever you go...so your kids can have something to do...traveling, church, resturaunt...anywhere! I have securely sewn in an elastic to hold their chalk. I have also sewn on another piece of elastic to hold it rolled up. Why elastic instead of ribbon??? because there is no need to tie elastic for those children who can't tie yet.

These mats can be drawn on time and time again, then just wiped clean with a dry cloth. For a better cleaning you can also wipe off with a damp cloth.
