T'was the night before Christmas, and Santa and his elves were finishing up last minute preparations. Just picture your little ones all snuggled up under this adorable Christmas quilt waiting for Santa Claus to come.

This patchwork quilt was made using a printed Christmas print that I cut into eight big blocks and then added a narrow border around each in red and green stripes. I then added more sashes in a whimsical print of green Christmas trees and bulbs on a bright red background. The borders are a green print with the words jingle and joys and a touch of gold glitter. The outer border is the red Christmas print. It was bound with the same print.

The backing is an off white minky fabric that makes the quilt so soft and cuddly. It has a layer or Warm and White cotton batting and was quilted in a meandering freestyle with an off white cotton thread.

This quilt would also work great as a Christmas wall hanging.

This quilt measures 46" X 57.5"
