All pictures you are seeing are the pictures of one bag as it is reversible with four embroidered panels. All four panels are shown on the pictures. You effectively buy two bags in one and both sides are equally beautiful! All suzani embroidery used for this bag are fragments of two separate vintage suzanis from Uzbekistan. The bag is decorated with two vintage tassels. The shoulder strap is made of black cotton velvet.

1) One side is made of two panels of hand embroidered Samarkand suzani with very punchy colors (turquoise, magenta, burgundy, black). Both panels feature stylized tea pot. Cotton embroidery of cream cotton base.

2) Another side is made of two panels of machine embroidered suzani with muted pastel colors (cream, light blue, pink, purple). Both panels feature traditional floral motifs. Silk embroidery on black cotton base.

This is in great shape, and beautifully hand-worked. I love embroidering, knitting, etc- doing different textile work, and I really appreciate finding such good work that someone else has done, and that it has been well-cared for for 100 years! The package took almost 6 weeks to ship to the US, so I was a bit nervous it might be lost, but it made it safely and in fine shape. Thanks!!
