Ex Libris / Bookplates were introduced, when books were very rare and valuable. Sometimes they were passed around between book lovers. The bookowner placed a label inside of the book, so the book would be returned. The art of Ex Libris / Bookplates survived until modern days and is still treasured by todays book lovers.

Default shipping is set on ‘economy shipping’ which takes approx. 5-11 business days to arrive within Europe and 10-20 business days to arrive in the United States.

You can upgrade to airmail shipping to receive your order after approx. 2-4 business days in Europe and 4-8 business days in the United States.

Bookplates are lovely and beautifully wrapped for great gift presentation. For US buyers you should note this seller is in Austria. The item was sent within a week of my order, however it took slightly over 3 weeks from that shipment date to arrive to NYC. I am so pleased with the bookplates and will certainly buy from this shop again, but will be more mindful of the shipping times.
