ENVY is my entry to Etsy Beadweavers December Challenge "Emotional Roaller Coaster"

I decided to explore Envy in a beadwoven necklace because Envy is the driving force behind my growth as an artist. I have aften admired and envied the works created by the members of our group Etsy Beadweavers and other bead weaving artists featured in B&B and Beadworks. My Envy is what drives me to create my own designs and strive to be as good as them.

When I joined the group I was very new to bead weaving and bead embroidery and it has been my envy of the amazing artists in our group that has help me gow , try new ideas and techniques. Over the past 4 years my own artform has greatly improved (IMHO) and I will continue to grow as an artist because of ENVY.

Jealousy is a close cousin of Envy so I desinged my collar with Green Moss Agate surounded by Lt Green/grey Czech Fire polished 4 mm beads and Teal 3 mm glass pearls with a sprinkling of Bronze Fesh Water pearls. The collar background is entirely 11o Czech Metallic Olive Precoisa seed beads. The main Green Moss focal is surounded by a Lt Blue metallic bugle bead.

The colllar has an 16: interior circumference, the clasp is an Antique Gold Plated clasp in a filgree pattern that was imported from Germany's Clasp Garten. The closing mechanism is very high guality and easy to use.. The collar is backed with soft black suede leather

Very clear instructions. I twisted the pattern by using 15/0 beads, instead of 11/0, because my wrist is quite small. And I made the waves wider. It looks good.
