The elegant, intelligent spaniel inspired this handmade stone art wall plaque. This Splendid Spaniel wall plaque is part of my dog and cat collection. It is just 4" square and weighs 8 ounces. It is perfect for a wall or fence, as it is made and finished for indoor or outdoor use.

My original design was hand-carved in plaster, and your wall plaque will be cast in stone (similar to concrete) from a mold I made of my carving. I embed a metal hook in the back of all my stone art so that it can be hung indoors or out. I process Splendid Spaniel with bronze and gold highlights over a base of navy blue and black (Finish A I 6 3). Interference paints create subtle changes in color based on the type and direction of light. Like all my work, this wall plaque is signed and dated.

I bought this Springer wall stone along with my Mandalia stone and they will work perfectly together. I did think the springer was more of a copper/caramel brown color but it has a lot of the sea blue withing the coloring. It's perfect! Absolutely beautiful! Thank you!
