Construction: First knit the clog in the round, then pick up sts inside the rim of the clog for the faux sock. Felt the clog (child and adult sizes), finish the sock, and voilà!, a 2-in-1 slipper that stays on and a sock that never gets lost!

Pattern collection is 17 pages long and includes easy to follow directions. Additional step-by-step instructions and pictures are provided for confusing areas. For Child and Adult Clog-n-Socs, no previous felting experience needed - instructions are included in patterns!

Techniques used: Knit, purl, M1L, M1R, k2tog, p2tog, SSK, wrapping sts, knitting sts with wraps, seaming, felting, picking up stitches, and working in a round.

I’m between a novice and intermediate knitter because I’ve only been knitting for a few years. After the second FULL day trying to make these I’m lost again. I HATE leaving bad reviews but this is to warn anyone who isn’t an experienced double pointed needle tiny sock knitter, to avoid this pattern. I managed to get one newborn clog made today (by knitting the upper clog part separately then sewing onto the sole which worked!), but I’m totally lost trying to add the sock part. I picked up the 36 sts around the band. But then it says k8. With what? How? I have to logically think about what the outcome should be then think backwards as to how to make that work exactly. Even the photos don’t make sense. It shows picking up with white sock yarn for 6 sts then suddenly it’s brown yarn? What?
