Handmade bench with square steel tube "Brooklyn" leg base in an industrial modern style is a one of a kind for your kitchen, dining area, living room, mud room etc. Each bench is created from salvaged “old growth” (100–200 year old) sustainable reclaimed Douglas Fir floor joists sourced from deconstructed old barns and buildings throughout the Midwest.

Each piece has a story and a past all its own. We custom build benches in any size but this listing is for the specified bench dimensions in the listing title and for a bench in a similar style, not the exact bench viewed here. We also offer console tables and dining tables in the same leg base style seen here.

Brooklyn leg benches will be shipped within 4-6 weeks after order is complete.

Simple assembly required to attach legs. Screw gun or electric screwdriver suggested for
easiest assembly.

Every piece is unique and varies slightly in color and character but each
piece comes with a jar of our own Swilley’s Wood Rub included in the package as an option
if you want to add richer color or slight protection from stains.

We got this bench along with a table, and my goodness, this is beautiful and SO well made! It looks so good in our kitchen. Our purchase was definitely an investment, but we prefer to support artists/craftspeople and we will have this table for so so so many years, hopefully passing it along to our son one day-- it's THAT good.

The table it great! I wish I knew it was going to be delivered in a wooden nailed crate with no assistance. It took forever, and I had to deal with the wood from the crate. The item itself is great!
