So Black #4
Is a part of a series that was last on exhibition with the Ohio Arts Council. This series examines the African woman as the avatar of all people, similar to the 8th Avatar Krishna (A Hindu God). He was so black he was depicted in blue. As a child the African American community grew up with the saying "So Black you're blue," and this series was born.

This particular image was featured with Sankofa Fine Art Plus and at the Westomoreland Arts Nationals in Pennsylvania where it was also purchased. 20 more runs of this image can be made on any type of material.

The originals of this series are printed on Acrylic and the white spaces are clear.

I am inspired to create dramatic images that move the viewer to question everything.
