Wonderful style and still a long lasting item, because the plait can be opened, combed and plaited again, so you will never have to wear a fringy plait! You need not know any special plaiting techniqure to replait this plait, as this is just a normal three strand plait. The strands are arranged in a special way, so this pattern comes out when you plait it! The decorative strands are sealed, so they will stay in shape for a very lomg time!

HOW TO PICK THE RIGHT COLORS
Hair color is up to you! The price includes a mixture of up to 3 colors (a 4th color costs 5,00 € extra, please let me adapt the price before your purchase if you want a 4th color). Colors can only be roughly blended, so you receive hair falls with highlights or thouroughly blended for a natural shimmer! Tell me if you want highlights, otherwise I will automatically blend all colors thouroughly for a natural shimmer!
How to find the right mixture of colors:
One's own hair usually consists of 2-3 colors. There is a predominant one in the upper hair and a darker one in the under layers of your hair. Most people have a third color in the hair tips which is way lighter than all the rest of the hair. This very light color can be neglected, because it usually is not visible when you wear hair falls over your own hair. But if you have highlights in a third color, the hair piece should also contain this color. To sum it up: A natural looking hair piece usually contains minimum 2 colors and in most cases 3. Dark hair is an exception, if you have hair colors 1-6, mostly one color is enough.

The professional attachment offers 2 additional thick strands of hair (in the same colours of your hair fall, naturally). These can be used to cover the junction of hair fall and your own ponytail and for additional support, of course.

One's own, natural hair usually consists of 2-3 colors, hence we mostly need 2-3 colors from the color charts to match your own hair which is included in the price. Only dark hair (basic color 1-6) is an exeption, here one color often is enough. Magic Tribal Hair takes care of all color aspects of your own hair - this makes our hair pieces look incredibly real!

Natural hair has a predominant color in the upper parts, a slightly darker one in the under parts and mostly a third lighter color in its lengths. Some have lighter tips or highlights, too. Lighter tips can be neglected, because you usually don't see them when wearing a hair piece. Highlights or streaks should be included in the hair piece.

Yes, you can! Please send one high quality picture according to our guidelines below, because we can only give qualified advice with a high quality picture.
We need a picture of your entire hair (any close-ups or details shots of a strand only, any pictures with hats or fascinators, braids, updos, pony- or pigtails!). You must be the only person in this picture, group pictures are not sufficient. You should be seen from the side or the back and until the middle of your back even if your hair is shorter. Different shades can be recognized much better from a little distant perspective. Natural daylight works best, please avoid extreme conditions like bright sun and full shade and don't take the picture against the light!

Yes, we can. You must buy one of our sample offers, because we need a protective charge for our samples. The price you pay for the swatches we will refund on their safe return and your order of a custom hair piece.

We actually prefer the picture color check (see previous question and answer), because for us it is easier to judge which basic colors in which proportions we must mix to get your hair color, since we do this every day :)! If you take a picture according to our guidelines the colors should come out realistic, we get the best matches with this color check method!

Yes, you can, but we do not recommend this color check method for finding a great color match. As you can read further above we are able to reproduce all aspects of your own hair which usually cannot be displayed well or completely in just one strand. Hair pieces matched this way often differ from one's own hair. So we use this method only if you as our customer explicitely want us to, because our custom hair pieces cannot be returned.

No, we can't. We are specialists for custom color hair pieces and have a range of more than 300 different models. We have to set a limit somewhere, because we make all Magic Tribal Hair items to order and would exceed our capacities if we kept on adding different items and would not specialize in anything.
We know that we tagged some of our hair pieces as "wig" in the item title or keywords. This is because many people still use the keyword wig when looking for a hair piece and not for a full wig. They would not find us if we did not use the term wig at all.

No, you can't. We specialize in ready to wear & comfortable falls you cannot take apart for several reasons:
1. Most permanent installation methods harm your own hair. We love hair, so we don't want you to damage your hair or deliver supply for that.
2. Our dreads are special yarn dreads and can be washed in lukewarm water with washing liquid for wool as the yarns are made of a wool- sythetics mixture. They are not made for being washed with shampoo, go swimming with you in salt or chlorine water etc.
3. You should never add organic material like wool permanently to your hair, as this will become a home for bacteria - to say it real straight: It would start decomposing on your head!
But you are welcome to buy a long-lasting fall!

I ordered and paid six weeks in advance. Melanie was initially very responsive, but as the deadline grew closer she did not respond to several inquiries about the order status. Yesterday I asked for a refund (which she gave promptly), and she apologized and said first that "something went wrong with construction", and then said that the order "had been forgotten". It's a shame because I was looking forward to having her specific piece. I hope that my experience is an isolated incident.

This is only a part of the truth. The customer needed the item for a certain event. I had it ready to ship in time when I received her request for cancellation. I told her that if I would still ship it the same day, it would be there in time. But I did not want her to feel like I would ignore her request, so I issued a refund through paypal. The next day I was offline and she answered that she changed her mind and wanted the item. When I read it the day after it was definitely too late to ship the piece. This was just an unhappy misunderstanding. If I had ingnored her request for cancellation and just would have shipped the order, I would not have received this negative feedback. This is what frustrates me, as she herself ask me to cancel and refund. But she doesn't see that point and does not want to improve it either.
