This bed is the result of a lot of feedback.

Walnut is Good
Silver Tube is Good
No Box Spring is Good
No Foot board is Good, especially if you are a guy
Lower Profile is Good
Storage Space is Good

This bed brings those features together in something I think looks nice. The frame is 1" x 2" steel tube. The wood is 1" thick walnut.

There are 2 side rails with 2 center supports running from the head to the foot. 1/2" finished birch plywood rest on the rails and provides a solid strong support for your mattress. If your mattress requires ventilation please tell me and I can switch to pine slats.

The bed goes together with bolts and nuts and is very sturdy. The steel is sealed with a wax and the wood an oil sealer.

Notice that the side rails are a little higher. You can request how high. Good for storage. Please provide mattress thickness when ordering so I can line up headboard dimensions. No gap for pillows to fall through.

Delivery is via R&L trucking and is for curbside service. Please provide a tele # so they may call to arrange a delivery appointment.

We ordered this bed (in steel panels rather than wood) after using the steel panel Queen size bedframe for a few years (also love that one!) It is very heavy (around 245 lbs in packing) but went together fairly easily and is sturdy and beautiful. It was packed for shipping extremely thoroughly!
