Every little one deserves a big welcome to the world! Ever since the ancient Greeks & Romans, storks have been associated with the birth of a new baby. This stork has a very special delivery to make, and a whimsical banner to celebrate the new bundle of joy.

This Welcome to the World pattern is 10 pages long and includes details on colors and stitches used in the example embroidery. It also has two views of the pattern itself: the original direction and a reversed direction, making it easy to choose which way you want the design to be oriented regardless of which transfer method you prefer. Also included are instructions on all of the stitches used in the sample. Straight off the printer, the full design measures about 6.25” wide x 5" high, but it can easily be scaled up or down with your computer or copier. There is also a separate available PDF included with embroidery transfer instructions if you need them.

The pattern is in PDF format and thanks to Etsy's new digital upload program, you should be able to download it immediately upon payment. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to use this file. It can be downloaded for free at http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/
