Using the art of metal stamping which means hammering individual steel stamps into metal. All my jewellery is handmade by me unless otherwise stated. The items are not engraved by a machine but each letter is placed by hand and hammered into the metal, this can cause marking on the reverse of the metal so it is not always possible to stamp both sides. Due to the way this is done, spacing, depth and alignment is not going to be perfect but this is all part of the unique character and charm of hand stamped items.
Turn around time.
Our turn around time is usually within 1 week if all items are in stock, however it could be longer due to busy periods. Please order with plenty of time if you require your item for a special occasion such as a birthday or before a holiday.
Delivery.
Items may be collected if you live on the Isle of Wight, Otherwise I will send all orders by Royal Mail 2nd class recorded which takes approximately 2-5 working days. If the parcel is larger than a large letter size dependant on weight and dimensions a higher postage fee maybe required and will be quoted at the time of ordering. Proof of postage is always obtained. We will not be held responsible for any problems arising with Royal Mail, items will not be deemed lost until after 15 days (from expected delivery) for Recorded (signed for) Delivery. If the goods have not arrived, replacement Items will be posted to you after the 15 day period.
All orders will be dispatched to the address left on PayPal or your Etsy order so please ensure your correct address is given when paying. Orders made from outside the UK will be charged dependant on your location so please ask for a quote when ordering.
International orders
All orders are sent tracked and signed. A signature will be required at the time of delivery. If your item is returned for any reason or you have not collected it in the time left, you will be required to pay for the return postage. A tracking number will be sent to you on dispatch of your order. Please allow 7-10 days from ordering for your item to be ready for shipping,then please allow up to 15 days for Europ for it to arrive and upto 21 days for everywhere else. I cannot be held responsible for delays in shipping as this is out of my hands. Each item can be held in customs for a short time depending on your country. Items will not be deemed lost until after 25 days from dispatch.
Refunds
Under new laws in the distance selling regulations you are entitled to cancel your order within 14 days of starting the order however this is only valid on NON bespoke or personalised items. If work has started on your order which is personalised it cannot be cancelled or refunded. If work has not started on your order then you are entitled to cancel and a full refund will be given. All orders once completed will be photographed and images sent to you before posting to ensure you are happy. At this time it is up to you to check it and make sure everything is correct such as design and spelling so it can be corrected.
If once you receive your order and you are not happy then please make sure you contact me via email or a message within the 14 day period to ensure a quick resolution. If the item arrives damaged I will need photographic evidence of the item and packaging it arrived in so I can inspect it. All personalised items will not be refunded or replaced unless the item is faulty or an error has been made on my part, in which case I will require the items to be sent back to me and once I have received them I will then reimburse any postage costs. It will be your responsibility to obtain proof of postage when returning any items.
Goods that are returned incomplete, damaged or in an unsalable condition will not be replaced or refunded.
Earrings cannot be returned unless damaged due to hygiene reasons
After care advice
Metals do tarnish and deteriorate over time, most of the items I make are made from aluminium which is a very soft lightweight metal and can scratch easily, so please avoid wearing it with other pieces of jewellery . It’s hypoallergenic so very good for people who are sensitive to certain metals and also it doesn’t tarnish like other metals. To help your jewellery look good everyday please remove your jewellery when having a bath or shower and at night and if you wear any perfumed products I would highly advise applying before you put your jewellery on. The pieces may dull over a period of time but a soft microfibre cloth will shine them up again. Metals like brass and copper tend to tarnish over time from the exposure to oxygen and oils/acid from your skin. If the ink starts to fade you may send the item back to me at your own cost and I will clean and refresh the item free of charge.
