PLEASE NOTE: You are purchasing a digital file. You will NOT be receiving a printed product, but a digital PDF file via email or instant download in a custom listing. Please read through the FAQs below before contacting us to begin your project.
This listing is very popular as a Christmas gift! In the past, my customers have printed and framed, which is probably the quickest option if you're in a hurry to give your gift. (See FAQs for printing tips.) Other options I've seen include putting it on a canvas or other photo gift such as a blanket, pillow or tree ornament. (FYI: Snapfish has some crazy good sales going on now! See https://snapfish.jedg.net/Qr4Rx for available deals!)
If you would like to purchase each square as separate prints, please see this listing: www.etsy.com/listing/179505221.
For a slightly different pop art styling, please see www.etsy.com/listing/153203762.
*I cannot accept photos with obscene gestures or nudity, as per Etsy shop policies and my own convictions. Thank you.
QUICK FAQS
Q. How do I send you my photo?
A. You can submit a photo to me through an Etsy conversation.
Q. Does the photo I send need to be a certain size?
A. 200dpi or higher will work best, especially for larger prints. If you're unsure about the quality of your digital images and the possible output size, please convo me with image/s attached and I can tell you if it's do-able.
Q. What size will the finished piece be?
A. Whatever size you'd like! However, please note that the output (printed) size of your art will depend on the digital quality of the originals you provide. Generally 200dpi or greater will work better and produce a larger print. Again, if you are unsure the photo you have will produce the finished size you want, please send the photo and I'll be happy to take a look for you and let you know if it's doable.
Q. Does it have to be square? Where can I find a square frame?
A. Square photos and art pieces are becoming more and more popular and these days you can find square frames in just about any framing or arts and crafts store. However, if you'd rather a traditional landscape or portrait design, that's fine, too! Again, just let me know what size you'd like your finished piece to be when you send your photo.
Q. Where can I have my pop art printed?
A. I often use the copy center at my local Office Depot for prints. I have also used Staples and Fed Ex Kinkos with good results. These copy centers have glossy cardstock (photo paper) available which will print just like a photo. They will usually be much less expensive than a photo lab for printing. You should be able to print sizes up to 10x10 for under $2 (usually less than $1) depending on paper choice. Of course, larger sizes will be more. Before purchasing here, I strongly suggest checking where you live to see what printers are near you and the sizing options you have available, as well as the printing costs for your needs. There are also many online printers you can use to purchase prints, posters, or canvas art. I can usually provide several sizes of the finished project, but it helps to know before I begin work the size print you will be needing and the file format your printer requests.
Q. Can I have a canvas made from my pop art file?
A. Sure! I have had several customers do just that. Again, I suggest that you shop around and know what size you want and how much the canvas will cost. It's also always wise to check out the reviews from customers of the company you plan to purchase from to make sure the company or printer has a good reputation. I have had canvases made at CVS Photo with good results, and several of my previous customers have as well.
Q. Can I have more than one print made of my pop art?
A. Once you have paid for the design and the digital file is sent to you, it belongs to you. You may use it to make as many prints as you want.
Q. What file format do you provide?
A. I usually will send PDF file formats, unless you request something else. Please let me know during the editing process what file format you be needing.
Q. How long does the creation process take?
A. Though I try to provide first proofs within 24-hours after receiving your photo, turnaround time may be up to 7 days depending on the number of projects I am working on. If you need your project in a hurry, please indicate that when you purchase and/or message me after purchase and I will try to put a rush on it. Otherwise all projects are handled in the order of when I receive notification of purchase. NOTE: I don't mind spending some time working on a sample so that you can get a feel of what it might look like before you purchase. However, please understand that paid projects receive priority and there may be a delay in getting a sample to you.
Q. How do I know that it will be just like I want it?
A. All of my projects receive unlimited edits! I don't mind working with you as long as needed to create a personal project you will love! If somewhere along the way in the editing process you change your mind or are not satisfied with what you are seeing, you can cancel your project and receive a $20 refund (through Paypal).
Q. Does it have to be the colors shown above?
A. Not at all! If you have colors you know you would like to work with, please message the details and we can work together to created a totally customized print for you.
Q. What happens if I purchase and then forget to send a photo?
A. Yes, this has actually happened before, so I wanted to include it in the FAQs! When I see your order come through, I will contact you through Etsy within 24 hours to ask for your photo/s and begin the creation process. If I have not heard from you after 7 days, I will contact you again. I will send a message on Etsy, as well as to the email address listed on the receipt. After 7 more days, I will contact you one final time. After that I will consider our transaction closed. Please note that I will not give refunds past one month from the purchase date because you forgot to send your picture or did not contact me.
Q. Do you use your projects in your advertising? Do you have to use mine?
A. I sometimes use my completed work in promotions on my social media networks (listed below) or as examples in future Etsy listings. If you would rather I not use your piece please let me know and I'll be sure to leave it out of any future promotions.
