The set of dictionaries that I currently work with I found on the “Free To A Good Home” table at a local Friends of the Library sale. Published in 1897, this four volume leather bound set was very much out of date and in poor shape. Sadly, the books were destined for the ash heap of history (aka the local landfill.)

I couldn’t let them be destroyed and I hoped to share them with others who could love and appreciate their beauty as much as I do. Now the history of these books and the beautiful patina of their worn and well-loved pages can add a timeless dimension to your new artwork.

Frames are not included and I'm unable to offer framing at this time.

The antique page sizes vary a little due the nature of the antique books but all artwork is configured as to allow pages to be trimmed to fit 8x10 frames. *If you need tips on how to trim them just message me & I’ll be happy to give you some advice to make it even easier.

The prints are very easy to frame & look lovely in a variety of sizes of frames. The least expensive method is an off the shelf 8x10 but if you want something more striking? A 3 inch wide frame with complimentary matting would be a beautiful choice.

The unframed 125+ year old dictionary pages are approximately 8x11 inches but the unframed artwork is configured for 8x10 frames should that be your preference.

The top and bottom of the pages have generous margins & can easily be trimmed to fit the 8x10 frames which come in a wider and more fashionable variety than 8x11 document frames.

The 110+ year old music pages are a bit larger but, again, the unframed artwork is configured to fit 8x10 frames should you decide to trim the pages to fit.

On extremely rare occasions prints may be damaged during shipment. If this is the case, PLEASE TAKE PHOTOS of the outside packaging plus detailed photos of the damaged prints and send them along when you contact me via the Etsy message system.

I rarely have orders go missing but if they do it's usually because a carrier left it in an unexpected spot. My packages are large (9x12 or 10x13) white envelopes with bright red PLEASE DO NOT BEND stamps. They do not fit in standard sized residential mailboxes.

Is there a safe place that your carrier usually leaves over-sized mail? Or could a family member have picked it up and placed it on the kitchen counter or the backseat of their car? Give those kinds of places a try and if you still don't have any luck let me know and we'll figure it out together!
