This is an art print made on 12" x 16" heavyweight glossy stock. It has a thin white border around the edges. Each print is hand-cut and individually signed by the artist.

The original drawing was done freehand with pen & marker.

I cut the prints by hand from 12x18" stock, so they may have an extra centimeter or two of length at the top or bottom, which may need to be trimmed if you plan to frame them.

Each one is made by hand, with love, by the artist who originally created the illustrations, with no third-party involvement or corporate nonsense. Ryan's artwork is fabulous and these prints are on high quality paper, not glossy, but with a bit of a sheen. (I'm sure there's a technical term for this kind of paper that I'm not aware of!) I have 11 of the authors up in my classroom. Most of the time the kids don't seem to notice (middle schoolers!) but every once in awhile, one will ask about one of the authors and that makes it all worth it! I have: James Baldwin, Emily Dickinson, Margaret Atwood, Octavia E. Butler, Stan Lee, Sylvia Plath, Langston Hughes, Toni Morrison, Oscar Wilde, Maya Angelou, and Kurt Vonnegut.
