Black walnut hulls infused olive oil skin woes salve
Juglans nigra
Wild-harvested fresh black walnuts are collected during the early autumn season once they drop from the trees.
Walnuts consist of the green outer husk or hull, the hard shell and the nut kernel of which we are most familiar for eating. The outer hull contains the potent, phenolic compounds sought after for fungal issues. This outer husk is cut away and infused in olive oil which is later strained and used for making salves. For our purposes the walnut hull infused olive oil is used for topical use only.
The infused walnut hull oil is then combined with unrefined coconut oil, beeswax, vitamin E and tea tree and myrrh essential oils.
Due to Etsy rules in regards to making claims about medical conditions, if you have any questions about the purpose of this salve or the ingredients, please message me or refer to the website, www.meadowmuffingardens.com.
Once the hulls are infused into the oil, there are no issues with the staining of skin or clothes.
