♥♥♥ STORAGE /CARE - We ship to you in a food safe recloseable bag; you can store the lavender in that bag in your refrigerator/freezer for several years. If not using your lavender immediately and not storing in refrigerator/freezer, you should prep it for long term storage. Put your lavender in a recloseable-ziploc type bag; squeeze out as much air as possible, put in the coldest part of your freezer for 1-3 weeks. The longer the freezer stay, smaller quantity in the bag; more airless the bag; the faster & more efficient the procedure. If transferring to a jar, allow the lavender to come to room temperature to avoid moisture from condensation.
You can transfer it to a mason jar or some other food safe glass jar; and store with rest of your herbs, preferably in a cool dry place away from heat, moisture and sunlight.

♥♥ SLEEPY TIME TEA - add about 1/8th - 1/4 teaspoon lavender to boiling water. Let steep for about 5 minutes. You may also add chamomile and your favorite caffeine-free tea. Sip as a relaxation & sleep aid.

♥♥ SIMPLE LAVENDER SYRUP
2 cups sugar
2 cups distilled water
6-8 tablespoons premium culinary lavender

Directions: In a small sauce pan, bring the water, sugar & lavender to a boil for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Continue to simmer for another 15-20 minutes (longer for more lavender taste). The longer it simmers and sits, the more taste and smell you’ll get from the lavender. Strain the liquid into a clean bowl to remove the bits of lavender. You may need to strain more than once. Refrigerate in a clean sterilized sealed jar for up to a month.

♥♥ LAVENDER MOJITO (2 cocktails)
16-20 mint leaves
2oz lavender simple syrup (recipe above)
4oz white rum
Juice of 2 limes
Club Soda
Lavender Sprigs or Lime Wedge, for garnish

Directions: Tear the mint leaves, add the simple syrup and muddle together. Add the rum and lime juice, shake well. Pour everything into a cocktail class, top off with club soda and ice. Garnish with a sprig of lavender and/or lime wedge.
