I've been meaning to make this all Summer and, as usual, the final result is always quite different to what I had pictured, in this instance I am thrilled with it, the palette just works. A subtle collection of shades taken from nature and randomly placed together. Each leaf is made from 3 different coloured layers, each hand cut by moi and sewn with neutral thread. I have hung mine in a cluster from a peg in my entrance hall and it looks lovely this way (see 4th pic), or you could drape across a mantle or bedpost or tree.
This one starts at 3 feet, the leaves are approximately 2 1/4" long, there are twine ties at each end, it will arrive flat for mailing reasons but it is a quick and easy task to open the leaves up.
