Sea urchin hand pinched ceramic pot. Nature Inspired pottery bowl. Ice cream bowl.

The source of my inspirations is Mother nature - its magical beauty, harmony, strength and power. Every ceramic piece is filled with my positive energy and creative spirit.

These inspired by nature one-of-a-kind sea urchin pinched pots just came out of my kiln. These small-sized, irregular-shaped hand-built bowls with pointy legs look very organic though elegant. They have stunning deep blue marbleized finish inside with a gorgeous light blue star relief. The outside surface is matte: the color changes from yellow to sandy-light reminding you of beach sand. The bowls have three legs. There is a surprise when you turn the bowls upside down. They have a pretty sand dollar stamp on the bottom. It identifies these ceramic pieces as my "Under the Water" series. It took me a long time to make them. They can be used for serving, like a sculpture for display, or perhaps for holding treasures.

All of my work is done in my home studio located in beautiful Southern California. Each ceramic vessel is an original piece of artwork. It is signed by me. It takes approximately a month from start to finish for one ceramic piece.
