This one is a bit personal for me as this spot holds a really special, romantic place in my heart. My partner and I visited London in May of 2023 and absolutely fell in love with St. Pancras. The building is stunning, the station is amazing, the energy around it is buzzing. We had all these little moments in and around the hotel and station. Spotting a hot pink McLaren outside, seeing the craftsmanship that went into creating such a lovely place, the neon sign inside the station reading "I want my time with you", having a worker inside the station flag us down to take our latte cups for us because she knows how damn hard it is to find a garbage can...all moments seared into my brain's pleasure centers. We stayed just up the road from this gorgeous spot for our first night and loved it so much we had to return to soak it in some more.
This piece honors the Famous Barlow Shed Roof and two works of art that received some critical backlash, but are considered by many to be beautiful enhancements of an already romantic place. "I Want My Time With You" by Royal Academy Artist Tracey Emin and "The Meeting Place Statue" (also known as the Lovers) by Paul Day. The Painting also honors the E Dent & Company replica clock built by Smith of Derby.


I have painted this with a colorful bubble design throughout the image playing off the black linework to give just a slightly more funky/abstract feel to my usual style. I really enjoy combining my love for nature with my comic book style linework. The giclee print measures 7x5 inches and has a black 10x8" matting. It also comes as an unmatted 10x8.
