Orange Hamsa is a mini mixed media art piece with an abstract background and a polymer clay Hamsa as an embellishment.
The background is a hand painted abstract landscape with an aqua sky with golden circles and yellow orange sand. The sand has scratchings which are repeated in the "eye"( yes, they are intentional). The polymer clay Hamsa was stamped, inked, cut out, cured and then sanded to this rustic handmade effect.
Hamsa is a symbol of protection from negative energy or the evil eye.

It got burnt pretty easily by regular use. I do love the design though and it works to protect heat as well as a cheap pot holder would. For the price, I was hoping for more.
