NOTE: I'd love to explain my process. I use really old original vintage photos and my goal is to make whimsical creatures look as real as possible. If the original photo is weathered, textured, discolored, even a bit blurry, I keep those interesting features because it adds uniqueness to the finished work : )

This is Pierre “Digger” Becheur. He’s a fierce advocate for those less fortunate than him. There are those of his kind who aren’t welcome in the places of their birth. They are hunted and destroyed and considered a pest. This portrait was taken just before he received his country’s “Badge of Honor” for his relentless ferocity and bravery.

My art is not created by AI. Multiple images are artistically fused together seamlessly and digital painting added to create a new life form! All my work is created in my little rural home studio in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
