These resin and sterling silver earrings are made completely by hand, by me. I start with solid sterling silver raw materials, then shape, cut, solder and clean up the forms by hand. Once the sterling forms are made, I mix, color, and heat cure the resin. The pieces are sanded flat for a modern matte finish. Resin is very durable, as hard as many stones, and will not chip or dent with regular wear.

The sterling was given a brushed matte finish as well.
The earrings measure 1-7/8 inch long from the ear wire and 1-3/8 inch wide at the widest part on the bottom. The ear wires are solid sterling silver. These have a nice length but the resin makes them much lighter to wear than a similar size earring of purely metal or stone.
