Steampunk inspired copper wire wrapped Full Moon Tree of Life Pendant with Opalite Rainbow Moonstone full moon within the bare branches of a wire tree necklace.

The Tree of Life is a concept that's been featured in myth, story and legend literally all around the world. Since ancient times, people have used variations on the theme. Connecting all things - the realms of the spirit, the physical, the Divine and the mundane - the roots of the Tree and the branches touch all things and bring them together in harmony.

Tarnish resistant copper wire frames and encircles the pendant, and is then used as the roots, trunk and branches of the tree. This tree is bare of leaves like one would see in late Autumn or Winter and features a large, rainbow moonstone "full moon" behind the branches.

Opalite - also known as "sea opal" - is a rainbow moonstone simulant. It's a manmade gemstone with the look of an opal or a rainbow moonstone. It's a milky white color with extremely beautiful luminous "glow" ranging from blues (like a moonstone) to an orange type color (like an opal.) You can get perfect form and significant size from opalite, where it's simply not possible to obtain in a natural stone. It also has the added value of being a more affordable option with all the beautiful look and appeal of moonstone.

The pendant measures approximately 1.5" in diameter not including bail. It can be worn on any cord or chain of your choice. Optional chain selections above.

I made the first copper version of this tree (it's available in other colors elsewhere in the shop) to wear with my own steampunk outfit. I always get so many compliments on it. And while the steampunk copper wire version has been an option in other listings, I wanted to give copper it's own focus since I don't think enough people realize how striking the copper version truly is!

This will make a beautiful addition to your steampunk accessories, or just give you a little bit of unique flare in your daily wardrobe!

It's also important to NEVER submerge handmade jewelry in any kind of liquid, nor use any abrasive clothes, brushes or cleaners as it can damage the piece. Do not wear in the shower, tub, pool or other time when the piece may get submerged in water.

By following these guidelines and with normal wear and gentle care, your handmade jewelry should last you for years and years!
