Dangle earrings handcrafted in black, white and taupe, a "retro" cane of polymer clay was the inspiration.

The dot patterns were achieved by a method known as a "retro" or "Klimt" cane, named after the Austrian Symbolist painter. Discs of polymer in the featured colors were randomly stacked like a roll of coins, then forced through an extruder. The resulting tube changes continuously, and although slices from the canes may be taken right next to each other, they will always vary slightly. These log-like extrusions are stacked, reduced and sliced.

Sterling silver wire, formed and hammered into delightful dangles will catch the light when you move. Custom sterling earwires are nice and long in back. Sterling filled wire was used for loops, saving cost and are less likely to tarnish.

Dimensions: overall drop 3 3/8"; main focals 1 1/8" sq x 1/4" thick.
