Blending boards are a great tool for producing custom fiber batts with crazy layers of color and texture, without an expensive drum carder. Unlike hand cards, they don't blend the colors back and forth, but instead let you apply all of your fibers in the desired layer and position, giving you complete control, making it an excellent tool for wet felting.

Besides making surprisingly beefy batts, you can also draft off several matching rolags in a batch, or even diz off roving. As portable as hand cards, but with a higer volume production potential.

It's completely portable--just pop it in your bag & take it anywhere.
