Reminiscent of vintage flower cabochons, this sweet little necklace works up rather quickly and makes a nice gift for you or someone you love. Flower is three layers of loveliness! Pattern comes with lots of color photos and detailed, step-by-step instructions. Pattern uses basic crochet terms and techniques and is written in US terminology. Total document is 7 pages.

Finished size of individual flower is 1 1/2" diameter.

Materials needed:
2.1 mm crochet hook
Cotton crochet thread in desired colors
jewelry chain
pliers

Flower also looks great by itself and can be used as an embellishment on bobby pins, headbands, or as a tiny brooch. Options are endless as you could sew a pearl to the center, change colors on petal rounds, or change hook size to create different sizes of flowers. I have enjoyed using vintage crochet thread as I've worked my own projects.
