This is a fun and easy bracelet made from the very new two-hole diamond beads called Silky. If your new to using two hole beads this is a great pattern to get you started. It is a beginner level but some knowledge of RAW and thread tension as well as adding clasps and thread is helpful. This PDF is 6 pages of full color close up pictures and clear diagrams on how to stitch together this cuff style bracelet.
New to my patterns? Nervous about spending money on a pattern only to find out it is not well written? Message me and I will send a free pattern to see how my tutorials are laid out. This is for NEW customers only.
Materials needed:
48 two-hole diamond beads Silky in one or two colors.
(Some colors that have a coating to them will have the coating on top and some on bottom, that is how I made the Red and Capri Gold version, same beads just that some have coating on the backs.)
1-2 grams 11/0 round seed beads
1-2 grams 15/0 seed beads
62 3mm crystal bi-cones
1-3 grams "O" Beads or the new Triangle Beads, the cousin to the O bead, see Turquoise picture.
These amounts will make a 7 3/8 inch bracelet. There is a formula to change the length included in the tutorial.
Clasp, I used toggles and a lobster but it can work with any you choose
Beading needles size 10 or Tulip size 11(my fave)
Your fave thread, I use 8 lb Fireline with these Silky beads. I have found that with they can have rough edges so I recommend 8lb and maybe even a second pass through. Like any two-hole beads, check your holes prior to stitching with them.
