Create a classic Celtic cabled look without a cable needle!

If you can knit and purl, you can make these beautiful gloves. Cotton yarn makes a perfect fingerless glove for fall or spring, or choose a DK weight wool or other fiber for more warmth in winter.

I used Tahki Cotton Classic, which is called "worsted weight", but it is fairly light, and with #4 needles, the gauge is similar to DK weight yarn. I wouldn't recommend using a heavy cotton unless you want a stiffer fabric and a larger size glove.

This is an easy intermediate skill level pattern.

One size fits all.

Materials needed:
-- 1 skein (108 yards) of Tahki Cotton Classic yarn
-- #4 dpns (set of 4) or size to get gauge
