I love keys of any kind and can’t bear to discard them. I transformed this old door key into a heart key necklace pendant. I added a piece a piece of a 1910 Ladies Home Journal and part of a vintage postage stamp. The pink and silver heart is a good complement to the stamp color. This is a pretty pendant to layer with other necklaces for a Boho look, especially with jeans. I also added a large jump ring so that you can use just about any size necklace with it. You can also use this pendant for a key chain, fan pull, bracelet charm, or ornament.

I did not decoupage the back of the key. I find that people sometimes have a connection to the name or information on the back of keys. It also gives the pendant somewhat of an industrial feel. The total length of the pendant including the ring is almost 2 inches. It measures about 1 inch in width. Necklace chain and photo props not included.
