The Wink pins were created for the eye Klin sisters based on their logo.
Behind Klin d'oeil is Émilie and Virginie Capman, the founders of the famous Parisian designer salons of the same name. It's also a creative agency and they've also since opened a shop in Paris, maybe you've heard of it. It's a beautiful shop! If you pass by Deguerry Street in the 11th, take a look, it's a happy colorful cocoon filled with life and wonders! All their favorite creators are present (and here we are!). The shop has also expanded and now has a DIY workshop part and will soon have a café, the "Café Klin" (opening in 2021)!
Their logo is therefore an open eye and a closed eye cut with scissors rather crudely in colored papers, hence the irregularities for the shape and different lengths of the lashes :)
We adapted it by lightly straightening the line and also reducing the size differences between the lashes while trying to stay true to the rough side of the design.
To make them, we first print open eyes and eyelids in white and then print pupils and lashes of all colors. We then assemble the pieces printed in white and the colored pieces to form the eyes open or closed by sticking them. Once it's dry, we glu the metal pin holders.
And it's our little hands doing all this, in our little workshop in the Ariegean Pyrenees! :)
