Show your pet's Irish spirit this St. Patrick's Day with these festive leprechaun hats for large breed dogs. Each hand crocheted hat features a decorative black ribbon, sparkly foam gold buckle, and a crochet shamrock.

--- Wearing Instructions ---

The hat was intended to serve as a cute holiday photo prop. It is held in place by a small elastic chin strap. The elastic chord is firm but stretchy so as to fit a larger variety of dog breeds and sizes. Because of this though, there are no ear straps on this version of my hat.

Tip: Try the hat on your pet several times before your photo opp to help him/her get used to it. Be sure to bring lots of rewards!

--- Measurements and Sizing ---

To ensure the best fit for your dog, I have included the approximate measurements of the hat below:
- 4.75" / 12cm from the bottom of the hat's brim to the top of the hat
- 4.75" / 12cm across the top of the hat
- 13.75" / 35cm along the elastic band (intended to be smaller than the dog's head as this will stretch and will only cover the area from ear to ear under the dog's chin, as shown in the the third photo)

I cannot describe how beautiful this little hat is. It arrived fast, was packaged to avoid damage, and to boot, arrived the day I had an appointment at the vet. The staff loved the hat. It is just amazing. It may take a bit of a trick to get it to stay up (I may have to put some padding inside the hat) but it is darling, is beautifully made, and a delight for our Irish family to have the pup all set for St. Paddy's!!
