This fun felted pencil cup is both beautiful and functional, plus it won’t scratch your desktop!
I first knit this pencil cup with 100% wool yarn in a dijon mustard yellow, then felted it in the washing machine. Once dry, I needle-felted on polka dots in sage green, teal and eggplant purple.
During the felting process, the wool binds to itself very tightly, so this pencil cup is super sturdy. It can hold a lot – including my large kitchen scissors! Use it for pens/pencils, knitting needles, paint brushes, and more.
