These have a hinge and click system of closing shut. Before we put them in the jewelry box, the earrings are checked under our scope to make sure that they are closing correctly and securely. It is important that you not move the post that goes into your piercing. If the post is moved, the earrings will not securely close. If you do happen to move the post, it can be GENTLY moved back into place and the earrings will close again with a click.

These are Beautiful and well crafted gold earrings. I have a hard time justifying the price for the weight and amount of gold used. ($259 for 2 pair) But I CAN say that the hinge close is super easy, discreet and I have slept comfortably in these for several days now. Long term, I’m hoping the gold quality will stand up. Would purchase from again.
