The trilobites march across the surface of this jar. I used an actual fossil as a stamp and layered the jar in a gorgeous green-brown glaze. In all this piece speaks to me of the north-west, where we have the fossil beds and trees dripping with moisture and rain. :)
The interior of this pot is done in a soft blue-brown.
