This teeny-tiny tome is perfect for your pocket or a pressie and so straightforward to make.

This tutorial is clearly-written and simple to follow. It gives the instructions and templates for you to make a tiny leather journal similar to the one in the picture.

The method I describe, enables you to make the book with mimimal equipment and measuring.

You will need the following materials:
leather, glue, paper and waxed cord.

And the following tools:
a large-eyed needle or bodkin, a sharp craft knife, metal ruler and bradawl or hole punch.

Making this book requires skill in cutting, folding, tearing, glueing and sewing but if you are used to making things, you will find it straightforward.

The instructions include useful tips on grain and on tearing paper.

The finished size of the book is approximately 6 x 3 cm OR 2.5 x 2.5 x 1 inch.

The file will be in PDF format and may be printed for personal use.
