The basis for this soap is a Castille/Olive Oil soap. During the French Milling process, vanilla bean is added, and the rose petals placed on top after the soap has been formed.
Vanilla bean is a powerful anti-oxidant and is absorbed by the skin. In addition, the scent of vanilla produces a calming affect.

Sunflower oil contains high levels of vitamin A and E as well as anti-oxidants, all of which are absorbed by the skin. The oil from sunflower seeds is perfect for helping the skin retain moisture, and it also provides a natural barrier of protection against bacterial which can start blemishes.
Olive Oil is rich in vitamin E, which is directly absorbed by the skin. It is also anti-inflammatory, and its lipid structure is very similar to the skins, and so is easily absorbed. Finally, there has been some research to show that the use of olive oil has anti-cancer effects.
Coconut oil helps to keep the soap from getting to hard, and produces a great lather.
