Swaying in the breeze as you walk through the garden queen annes lace is one of my favorites! This one is a bit more whimsical since I have embroidered the lace in a frosty mint green.
Various sizes of Queen Anne's Lace flower heads including one lucky red centered flower. Hand dyed felted wool, lined with linen. Green Silk embroidery thread with straight stitches and french knots comprise the flowers. The closure is made with loops of wool, the same color as the cuff and I use vintage buttons from my collection to create the closure.
No two cuffs are ever exactly the same, since I am doing this embroidery free hand from my drawn design. I design the patterns for these cuffs and then hand embroider them.
