This is for my very own easy to follow instructions to make your own hot/cold therapeutic corn bag sack heating pad/ice pack. The actual items in the pictures are NOT included, they are only to show you what completed ones look like.

The instructions show you how to make a 10"x10" corn bag with a washable cover, but you can use these instructions to make ANY size or shape you'd like.

Don't know what a corn bag is?!?! Corn bags are not only great for all sorts of aches, pains, injuries, etc., they are also great for keeping warm!!! During the bitter cold winter weather here in the Northeast, heat up a corn bag (or 2 or 3, lol), and put them under your covers at night. They will keep you toasty warm for hours. I also like to keep one on my lap and feet when sitting at a computer for awhile and I get chilly from not moving around. These make the absolute BEST Christmas, birthday, etc. gifts ever!!! We've been making and giving them away for almost 15 years now, and have MANY satisfied friends, family members, teachers, bus drivers, co-workers, etc. :-). They can also be used inside pet beds to keep them warm. They are safer and cheaper to use than electric blankets/heat pads (no electricity needed, or the fire hazard risk.

In addition to putting them in the microwave to use as a heat pad, they can also be kept in the freezer to be used as an cold pack. Children like them a lot better than ice packs, because they don't get AS cold and aren't hard and painful to use because they mold to your body.

They are great for people who suffer from... an injury, arthritis, fibromyalgia, migraines, sinus pain/pressure, earaches, menstrual cramps, pregnancy aches/pains, bumps & bruises your little ones get from falling down, etc.

My instructions/patterns are very EASY... anybody can follow them, even beginners just learning to sew. There are no complicated sewing terms used, and no difficult sewing stitches involved. All of my patterns include easy step-by-step instructions to guide you through the project. Please note that not all of my sewing instructions include an actual paper pattern, some of them are just easy step by step instructions.
