Here's a cute mini bag for all those little knick knacks that get jumbled up on your desk, or the hall table, or in your craft room. I've shown just one example use -- for holding a cell phone, calculator and pens. But you could use this mini bag to store your keys, sunglasses, make-up, thread spools, small crafting implements... the uses for this little bag are only limited by your imagination!
If there are several people in your family, get them a bag each in different colors -- each person's keys, phones, etc. can go into their own bag on your hall table. No more scrambling at the last minute for keys, wallet, sunglasses etc.
I used a gorgeous Christmas-y chrysanthemum fabric in red, green white, and gold for the outer, embellishing it with various rayon threads using free motion stitching in a meandering pattern. I used a plain red fabric for the lining; you get the best effect of the matching fabric by turning over the top of the bag to make a cuff. (Please note: Unfortunately, my camera doesn't capture red properly -- the lining fabric really is a bright red.)
Approximate dimensions: Fully opened bag: height: 7" (17 cm) width: 7" (17 cm) depth of base: 3" (8 cm) (height will vary depending on how far over you turn the cuff).
Made in a smoke-free, pet-free and child-free home.
I have not applied fabric protection to this bag as it is fully washable -- if you would like fabric protection, convo me. I suggest you lightly wash it in cool water with a small amount of laundry detergent. All fabrics have been pre-washed.
An ideal gift and/or stocking stuffer.
