A Gorgeous antique English bone china gravy boat/ sauce boat signed by John Maddock and Sons LTD England.
This is the Minerva pattern in Royal Ivory (1880-96)
Her cheerfully bright primary colors are still brilliant to this very moment.
Someone loved and used this stunning 8" serving piece in her day. The glaze is uniformly checked as you can see in the photos. Hopefully, I'll look this stunning too at 130+ years old!
I've seen this sweet gold-trimmed set in upscale antique shops and it commands some very serious money if you can find it at all. People tend not to part with pretty "Minerva" once they get her... for good reason.

I've searched all over recently trying to locate other pieces like this and come up with zip.
It's a very sought-after and rare bird. The colors are classic favorites; the pattern and shape are timeless.
