Up for your consideration today is some Halloween Sweetness! No, I am not talking about candy, but just the sweetest Halloween Bunny. She is Halloween Queen, but she goes by Bella Bunny. Miss Bella Bunny is a Back Porch Pickins Original and will arrive signed and dated.
Miss Bella Bunnys is one of my larger dollies and is 24 inches tall, from the tip of her ears to the bottom of her pretty - pretty shoes. She has OODLES & OODLES of detail in her and she is a bit different...some NEW EYES! Love them and in person, look so very neat!!
Miss Bella Bunny has eyes that are Real German Glass and if you look into Miss Bella's eyes, she looks as if she has a soul. She has some WHIMSICAL eyelashes...that have some sparkle and I have added some SHIMMER to her eyelids. no QUEEN would be complete without some added attention to her pretty eyes! She is just so PRETTY! Miss Bella has separate stitched on eyelids, my needle felted muzzle and a floss stitched nose and lil whiskers. I have blushed and shaded her face for depth, character and sweetness.
I made a beautiful crown for The Halloween Queen. It is sewn securely in place and has lots of sparkle. I added some embellishments to the crown and then added some awesome tinsel glitter!
Miss Bella Bunny has lots and lots of hand stitching on her. Here dress is so very Whimsical and has finished edges, with all different trims, hand stitched all the way around. Miss Bella's ears are wired, as always for posing and repositioning...as is her arms. For her neckline I crochet a funky yarn, with sparkle of course and hand stitched it in place.
In her hand, she totes with her lil Jack-O! I hand sculpted him from clay, (no molds) and have given him a crackle finish, antiqued him and sealed him. I also made for him a wee-little hat, hand stitched on the ric-rac trim and also added some detail to the cone part of his hat. I added a funky collar, at the base of his neck. Miss Bella holds onto this very well, but you can remove him and display him else where, if you wish. Jack-O is almost 10 inches tall - including the painted dowel.
The bottom of her dress is finished off with two different trims, all hand stitched in place. Here pantalets have pretty trim, that also has some sparkle in it. This sweet dollie has more sparkle, then my average detailed dollies!
I also made a woolen pretty for the front of Miss Bella's dress, that can be removed. Layers and layers of wool felt, decoratively cut and then added metallic ribbon, tinsel, lots of hand stitching and a lil punkin in the middle. To the back, there is a pin, so you can display that else where, if you choose.
Miss Bella's shoes are decked out with some tinsel trim, pretty hand stitched on buttons and also some metallic ribbon. Love those shoes!!
Lots and lots of time and love went into creating Miss Bella Bunny, The Halloween Queen. She is made to hand or sit, but does not sit freely on her own. She would be a wonderful addition to any dollie Collection.
